Easter Mingel in Djupadalen – join us on a hike to Ullvangtunet!

Join us for an easy and social afternoon hike to Ullvangtunet in the beautiful Djupadalen, together with Haugesund Tourist Association! This is a great opportunity to meet new people, get to know the region better, and get ready for the Easter holidays outdoors in the fresh air.

Ullvangtunet (formerly known as Friluftshuset or Friluftslivets hus) is just a 15-20 minute walk from the parking lot at Stemmen. The hike is suitable for everyone, and we’ll keep a relaxed pace.

Program:

• At 16:15 we meet at Stemmen, south of Eivindsvannet, and walk up together. No problem if you arrive later – just meet us directly at Ullvangtunet!
• We’ll be grilling hot dogs, so you can enjoy your dinner outdoors with both familiar and new faces! We’ll provide the hot dogs, so you don’t need to bring anything.
• We’ll be joined by DNT Ung Voksen (25-35 years) and Haugesund frivilligsentral – a great opportunity to get to know the hiking community and explore what’s happening this Easter in Haugalandet!

Wear good walking shoes and dress according to the weather.

How to get to Stemmen:

Starting point at the parking lot by Steinerskolen. Bus no. 202 runs from the city centre/Flotmyr to Steinerskolen. From the parking lot, take the stairs down to the underpass and continue to the dam, you’ll find us there! If you arrive after 16:15, simply follow the path towards Ullvangtunet.

How to get to Ullvangtunet:

Follow the road into Djupadalen – you can choose either the path alongside Eivindsvatnet lake or the path a little further up from the water. At the end of the lake, where the two paths meet, turn left and follow this road until you reach Ullvangtunet. At the crossroads, keep right. You will then see the red-painted house.
