Free Norwegian course – HVL
Welcome Hub Haugalandet, in collaboration with Breidablik Læringssenter, is now offering a free Norwegian language course for international students and employees at HVL, held in person at Breidablik’s offices in Haugesund. You don’t have to know any Norwegian to attend the course.

About the course
You don’t have to know any Norwegian to attend the course.
The course consists of two evening sessions per week, with two teaching hours per session.
You will practise speaking Norwegian in a safe and friendly group. You will learn new words and use Norwegian in practical situations.
- We will talk about student life, everyday life and free time.
- You will work in pairs and small groups.
- There will be speaking activities, simple tasks and repetition.
- The goal is to help you feel more confident when you speak Norwegian.

You can only register if you are an international student or an international employee at HVL Haugesund in 2026. Please note that places are limited and that the application does not guarantee you a spot in the course.
